The Retirement Party was a blast from the past! So many people said they enjoyed not only the music but the vibe Stella Polaris brought to the party. You brought us smiles, and an excellent sound that included a saxophone and violinist rarely heard in recent dance music.
We are so grateful for the variety of music you played. Not many bands can go from Van Morrison (Brown Eyed Girl) straight into the Go's Go's (Vacation).
We asked for fun dancing music and you killed it by bringing us songs by Cindy Lauper, Duran Duran, George Micheal, Human League, OMD, Tears for Fears, The Bangles, Fleetwood Mac, and so many more!
In fact most people said they had not danced like that in years, and their souls were full!
Again, a Big Thank you for taking on so many different songs, making our night magical, and being a part of honoring 38 years of the fire service.
